2024 Montenegro Basketball Camp

The very first Rick Mahorn Basketball Camp took place in Serbia in 2014. We will celebrate our 10th year in Montenegro with a camp for big men and for guards in Podgorica 30 June-4 July, 2024.

In 10 years, we have developed an international reputation as one of the best programs anywhere in the world for developing serious big men. Among past participants are Serbian Mihailo Todorovic (2.11m), American Zach Hankins (2.11m) former USA Division 2 Player of the Year and currently one of the top foreign players in Israel, and Olivier Rioux (2.31m) entering next year’s freshman class at the University of Florida.

This year’s camp will include separate skill sessions for big men and for guards, along with scrimmages and games.

Our coaches will include former European and NBA big men and guards. Coach and former player Marko Sekulic and former Montenegro National Team player Vladimir Dasic have already signed on.

Our emphasis will be on best ensuring that you will leave the camp with at least one new or significantly improved skill as you go into the 2024-25 season.

We are also the only camp anywhere that includes daily mental performance sessions, which have proven successful in helping players with self-confidence, maintaining focus, managing stress and pressures and more.

Camp fees include hotel from Saturday 30 June through Friday 4 July, all meals, and gym. Personal medical insurance and travel to Podgorica will be paid by the participant.
