Recently, Israel has developed bike paths leading through its forests, to promote both local tourism and active lifestyle. One such series of trails, located in the woods just outside of Nazareth, overlooking the beautiful Jezreel Valley, is a joint venture between neighboring Jewish and Arab communities of Yafa and Migdal HaEmek, Camp participants taking part in a four-day volunteer service effort will receive a scholarship equal to 50% of the camp cost. (Note: you will still be responsible for air travel, but in special cases we may be able to assist there as well.)

During this period, participants will stay with a host family (ideally families will include a basketball player and will be English speaking). There will also be some recreational activities during these days. You will not only be contributing to the local community, but you will be getting a true taste of local life not experienced by tourists, and of course you will be getting a subsidy to attend the BEST camp you can find!
